GET SURREAL WITH SALVADOR DALÍ

The 5th graders are studying Salvador Dalí in the Arts and Crafts subject.
Salvador Dalí was from Figueres, and he was one of the most important surrealism artists.
He did lots of drawings, paintings and sculptures, and he got his ideas from dreams and imagination.
We have seen some of his works, but we have worked specially on "The persistence of Memory" (and the melting clocks) and the anamorphosis.
We have copied and changed the picture, we have made melting clocks with plasticine and we have made our own anamorphosis with the magic cilinder.
It has been really interesting!!

JOAN MIRÓ

The 5th graders are studying Miró's life and work in the Arts and Crafts lessons.
Miró is a surrealist painter. He has his ideas from dreams and fantasy.
Miró often draws the same things in all of his paintings: stars, circles, lines, ...
He also uses bright colours in his paintings.
We have copied one of his works: The Break of Day
And we have also created our own Miró style picture!

AICLE A CICLE SUPERIOR

Aquest és el tercer curs que l'escola participa en el Pla Experimental de Llengües Estrangeres: "1, 2, 3, ... Shoot!" en la modalitat AICLE, que són les sigles d'Aprenentatge Integral de Continguts en Llengua Estrangera.
Gràcies a aquest projecte, els alumnes de Cicle Superior fan l'assignatura de Plàstica en anglès durant una hora a la setmana.
D'aquesta manera, els alumnes de Cicle Superior reben una hora més d'anglès, a més de les hores específiques que tenen per treballar la llengua anglesa i de la sessió de Pla Lector en anglès que es fa a sisè.

IT'S AUTUMN TIME!

It's autumn and the leaves fall from the trees.
There are lots of leaves on the ground, in the school's playground.
They are brown, yellow, red, green... and they have different sizes and shapes!
We went for a walk around the playgrond to collect some leaves for our Art Project.
We did wonderful pictures with the leaves. Do you want to see them?
